Painted in 1662, 7 years before Rembrandt's death, The Syndics is known as the last large group portrait painted by Rembrandt. Oil on canvas, of medium dimensions (191 _ 279 cm), The Syndics of the Drapers' Guild, or De Staalmeesters, is now hosted at the Rijksmuseum, in Amsterdam.
