Garden of Love is considered a masterpiece of Peter Paul Rubens' late period, which was mostly dedicated to personal, family themes. It is a collective portrait, of Rubens' and his wife, ready to walk in a Garden of loving couples. A serene atmosphere, populated by cupids (putti) and noble characters. A couple of woodcut drawings were made on the same theme, now hosted at the Metropolitan Museum of Art, New York. Oil on Canvas.
