i'm a little concerned with why Frode Steinicke wanted a picture of a vagina for his facebook photo?

When I read "Frode Steinicke has to apologize", it sounds like self-criticism how it was in rule during the Staline era in Russia or Mao in China... I'm totally ashamed to see a corporation like Facebook to deliberately censores a worldwide recognized master piece like this painting of Courbet painted in 1866 and which could be viewed by the public in a Paris' Museum without age restriction. I can say that this is Cultural totalitarism!

Facebook excluded a member and censored "The Origin of the World" by Gustave Courbet.
Frode Steinicke, a Danish artist, saw his Facebook page turned off after he had placed Courbet's "The Origin of the World" as his profile picture.
Painted in 1866 "The Origine of the World" is a painting representing the feminine sex. This magnificent work of art, otherwise known across the world, seems to have infringed the terms and conditions of the social network.
As a matter of fact, Facebook defended the censorship by stating that nudity is forbidden on their sites, and that they have the right to suspend the profile of any member who broke that rule.
Frode Steinicke had to apologize and his profile was reactivated without the picture of "The Origin of the World". At the same time, he stated that this work of art has nothing indecent about it.
