In Durer's age, this woodcut engraving was the most popular of Durer's works. According to his diary, he gave or sold more copies of "St. Jerome in his Study" than of any other print while he was in Netherlands, especially between 1520-1521. Present in Bartsch, and also exposed at the British Museum, London.
