Lorenzo Di Credi (1459-1527)

Lorenzo di Credi was an Italian painter who lived in Florence between 1459 and 1527. Di Credi was a student of Verrocchio, and was recognized for for his graceful and delicate style of painting.

His "Madonna with Saints Julian and Nicholas of Myra" is hosted at the Louvre. Other works, like "Venus" (at the Uffizi), and "St. Michael", are also regarded as great masterpieces of the High Renaissance.
