Ghirlandaio (1449-1494)

Florentine Painter of the Early Renaissance, author of the frescoes in the Church of Ognissanti (including a "Last Supper" scene), and the Tuornabuoni Chapel in Florence ("Life of Mary"). Ghirlandaio was renowned for his grandiose compositions, for the skillful use of the chiaroscuro and his advanced sense of perspective.
