Bonifacio Veronese (1487-1557)

Bonifacio (Bonifazio) Veronese was an Italian panter of the Renaissance period, who was born in Verona in 1487, and died in the same city in 1553.

He was the student of Palma Il Vecchio, whose influence can be seen in works like "The Finding of Moses" (Pinacoteca di Brera, Milan), "St Michael Vanquishing the Devil" (1530, Basilica dei Santi Giovanni e Paolo, Venice), and "Dives and Lazarus" (1545, Gallerie dell Accademia, Venice).
